BA Acting Summer Shows 2018: After Troy

A person bent down lighting a candle in a dark room

25 Jun - 30 Jun 2018

After ten years of relentless and exhausting war, Troy has fallen to the Greeks. The city's menfolk are dead - it's women, refugees.

Award winning poet and playwright Glyn Maxwell rips up two Greek tragedies and makes a new play from the fragments. A passionate, contemporised retelling of Euripides' 'Women of Troy' and 'Hecuba', 'After Troy' exposes the cruelty of war through all time.
