07 Feb 2018

3pm to 5pm

There are sound educational, disciplinary and professional rationales for encouraging students to learn through small-group activity. This workshop will draw from scholarship on group learning to identify and experiment with tried-and-tested approaches that can be used within course and unit design.

Who should attend?
Any member of UAL staff with a teaching and learning role that does or might involve facilitation of group learning.

This session will be delivered by Elizabeth Staddon, Head of Arts Education in the Teaching and Learning Exchange.

The Teaching and Learning Exchange supports teaching and learning enhancement at UAL, working in partnership with staff and students.  We offer a variety of workshops and seminars to support staff development, as well as more formal teaching qualifications.
