Many graduates and those early in their careers can feel lost, with no network and without the skills needed to kick start their career properly due to the leap between public relations education and occupational practise and the fact that a lot of those working in PR have never previously studied the subject.

London College of Communication (LCC) in collaboration with Propeller is hosting an event specifically aimed at bridging this gap and helping young people within PR kick start their careers.
The panel will be chaired by John Harrington, Deputy Editor of PRWeek and will look at the best ways to approach journalists, tips for getting your first job as well as how to build a network that will take you throughout your whole career. The panel will then be followed by networking where the panellists will be available to answer any additional questions the audience may have.

Confirmed speakers:
Chair
John Harrington, Deputy Editor, PR Week

Panel
Sarah Stimson, CEO, Taylor Bennett Foundation
Elijah Lawal, UK & Ireland PR Manager, Google UK
Laura Lovejoy, Account Manager, Propeller PR
Charlotte Tobin, Founder Belle PR
