students dancing in the darkroom bar at lonodn college of communication

15 Feb 2018

6pm to 8pm

FREE but booking is essential. You can book your tickets through Eventbrite.

Are you interested in making money by doing something you love? Do you want to quit your part time job, but aren't sure what else you could do? Are you unsure of how to make money from your creative practice?

Come along to this event to hear from Jaidon-Rhys, founder of Rap AssociationPareece Rose, founder of New Ground Creations and Honey, who runs bespoke fashion brand Honey Malaolu; three people who have turned their passion into their business and explore how to do this for yourself!

Jaidon will also be running a fun and interactive session, working with you to discover your passions, interests and skills through the medium of rap, helping you to think about your options for starting your own business. (Don't worry, you don't have to perform any raps if you don't want to!)

We'll also share with you our upcoming free workshops and projects and information on funding that you can apply for.

Open to everyone - you don't have to have an idea already!

For all accessibility requirements or for more information about the event please contact Lora Ghany at l.ghany@arts.ac.uk or 020 7514 8500.

This workshop has been organised by Careers and Employability in partnership with Business Launchpad. Careers and Employability empower UAL students and graduates to make a living doing what they love and strive to support students underrepresented in the creative sector.
