Roamin' Romans: The foundations of communication
A lecture, two workshops and a walk

Presented in collaboration with the Graphic Communication Design Programme’s Wednesday Neue sessions, and supported by Central Saint Martins' Creative Unions initiative.

Roamin’ Romans explores the most widely used writing system in the world today and celebrates the Central School’s contribution.

This series of events will enable participants to get “hands on” with lettering and type, discover the invaluable and unique resources within the Central Lettering Record and Museums Collection and see how these elegant letterforms feature in our daily lives.

Curated by Helen Ingham, Central Saint Martins Specialist Letterpress Technician and involves the UAL hand lettering/ sign painting community.
