06 Mar 2017

6.30pm to 8pm

Responding to recent events both in Europe and America, the University of the Arts London (UAL) Professoriate asks that we consider how our disciplines might respond to these changed landscapes, and what impact this quickly changing world might have on academic and creative integrity and practice.  We have chosen an expert panel from diverse subject backgrounds and disciplines to lead the discussion on Art in Polarised Times, which we hope will then open out to a wider audience discussion.

The debate launches UAL's Research Fortnight 2017, taking place across the university from the 6th – 17th March 2017.

ALL WELCOME - THS EVENT IS OPEN TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC

Introduced by Vice Chancellor Nigel CarringtonProfessor Jeremy Till, Pro Vice Chancellor for Research and Head of Central Saint Martins’, will be chairing the debate which will be hosted by the London College of Fashion.
