5.30pm to 6.30pm

If you are taking a product or prototype to a trade show, you should have an understanding about how to use and protect intellectual property to grow your business and the reputation of your brand.
In this session you’ll learn about copyright, design rights and trademarks and be able to use this information to identify, protect and exploit your rights to benefit from partnerships with potential clients, commissioners, manufacturers, retailers or distributors.

This workshop will be delivered by Silvia Baumgart, Trainee Solicitor and IP expert, James Ware Stephenson.

This session is aimed at exhibitors at Pulse 2017, although it is also open to any UAL students and alumni who want to know more about protecting your design and brand.

This event is organised by Careers and Employability, the University's dedicated careers and enterprise service, in partnership with Pulse London.
